Dean Chalkley Ltd reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice, by posting such revised terms and conditions on the Site. This website contains “Cookies”, they are used to optimise the efficiency of the Site for the user. Dean Chalkley Ltd disclaims any proprietary interest in trademarks, service marks, logos, slogans, domain names and trade names other than its own. Trademarks, logos, images and service marks displayed on the Site are the property of either Dean Chalkley Ltd or other third parties. You agree not to display or use such marks without written permission from Dean Chalkley Ltd or the appropriate party. The Materials on the Site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, including by e-mail or other electronic means. Any modification of the Materials, use of the Materials on any web site or networked computer environment, or use of the Materials for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is a violation of the copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights in the Materials and is expressly prohibited. Nothing on this Site shall be construed as conferring any license under any of the Dean Chalkley Ltd or any third party's intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise.

 

 

 

Print Sales

 

 

 

 

Not all images displayed on deanchalkley.com are available as prints. Even after purchase any images bought as prints remains the sole copyright of Dean Chalkley Ltd. By purchasing an image as a print You hereby agree that the print may only be used for personal use and may not be used for any commercial purposes including public display, exploitation, reproduction or syndication to third parties.

You understand and accept that even if any item on the site is offered for sale it does not necessarily mean that it is available. We shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that any unavailable items are marked accordingly but where items are not marked we reserve the right at our discretion not to process your order.

Your items will be dispatched within 30 days of placing your order and sooner if possible, to the person named on the Order Form.

We shall dispatch your goods in the appropriate packaging, by registered post or equivalent, at our own risk to the address provided to us on your order form. Please email us if you require an alternative delivery method and we will discuss the logistics and any further costs involved.

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for verifying the authority of the signatory taking receipt of the goods.

In the event of damage to a product as a result of mishandling in transit, we will send you a replacement providing evidence is provided to Dean Chalkley Ltd. If it is not possible to send you a replacement, we will issue you with a full refund. In the event of a product has been damaged in transit or is faulty, please contact us by email to info@deanchalkley.com within 7 days of order receipt. When you receive your order you have until the expiry of seven days of receipt to return the ordered products. The goods must be returned in the same condition as they were originally despatched from deanchalkley.com and received by you. All items must be returned to Dean Chalkley Ltd with tracking details.

If items are returned, due to being faulty or damaged in transit, You will be expected to pay for the return of the goods, and any refund of this amount will be at the sole discretion of Dean Chalkley Ltd. and will be credited to the original charged account within 30 days of receipt of the damaged items by Dean Chalkley Ltd. Please return items to the address at the bottom of the page along with a note of your details and the reason for return.

Dean Chalkley Limited Edition Prints are signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity giving the details of the edition and other details. From November 2020 Dean Chalkley Limited Edition Prints sold will also be embossed with the official Dean Chalkley Edition Seal.

Dean Chalkley Open Edition Prints will be signed and come with a certificate of authenticity, after Novemeber 2020 Open Edition Prints sold will be Embossed with a Dean Chalkley Edition Seal. Dean Chalkley Open Editions do not have any limit to the amount of prints that can be produced within the edition.

Third Party Edition Prints / Print Runs: There will be Official Editions/Print Runs produced outside of the Dean Chalkley Limited Editions and Dean Chalkley Open Editions containing Dean Chalkley imagery. Only in the circumstance where Dean Chalkley Ltd officially endorses, sanctions or licenses in writing can a company or organisation produce Third Party Edition / Prints, furthermore these Third Party Editions / Print Runs may or may not be accompanied by a Dean Chalkley signature, numbering system, certification or embossing seals, each Third Party Edition / Print Run will have it's own specification, this extends to limitations of Edition print quantities, physical size and time period in which the Third Party Editions / Print Runs are offered and produced. Dean Chalkley Ltd cannot be held responsible for the Third Party's quality control, production, fulfilment including shipping, accounting or any of the Third Parties financial conduct.

Dean Chalkley Ltd will make certain prints from the Dean Chalkley archive for Portfolio use.

Any other prints Fine Art or otherwise made from Dean Chalkley imagery are prohibited. 

All prints are sold unmounted and unframed unless otherwise stated.

1 -What do we do with your information

 

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

 

4 - Shopify

 

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

 

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

5 - Third-Party Services

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.

cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
