For the past few years every January Dean and his good friend Neil Barker have hosted the Studio 45 club night at The Social in Little Portland Street,London. The reason for this annual residency is that original co-founder Dean Thatcher generally holidays to Goa and asks Dean and Neil step into make the physical club swing.

This year things are a bit different, no physical happening, but as an alternative to brighten up the mind body and soul there are regular Studio 45 happenings online via Totally Wired Radio. It is only fitting that Dean and Neil were invited to reside over the Saturday 30th January 2021 episode as it would have been that night that they would have been behind the decks in the physical club...

So for your listening pleasure HERE is the Mixcloud archive, it's vital and upbeat, all the records are from Dean and Neil's personal vinyl collections all rare Northern Soul, Reggae and Rhythm'n'Blues 

The record in the photograph above is the first record Dean plays in his first set... I'm Coming Home by September Jones rather apt under the circumstances...of course a brilliant record too...
