Recently two of Dean’s iconic NME magazine cover’s were featured in exhibitions at the Design Museum.

Amy Winehouse - NME Cover 2011 / Amy Winehouse : Beyond Black at the Design Museum 26 November 2021 - 10 April 2022

Amy Winehouse’s unmistakable voice, confessional lyrics and iconic look, made her one of the music world's most beloved artists.This exhibition presented the story of Amy’s early career through her recordings and teenage notebooks unravelling the creative process behind her music. It paid tribute to her rich range of influences, from Dinah Washington to Mark Ronson, Camden to '60s pop, Motown to jazz. 

Many of the outfits Amy wore during her greatest performances, handwritten lyrics and personal items that had never been exhibited before were included.

The exhibition was organised by the Design Museum in collaboration with The Estate of Amy Winehouse which is waiving its right to royalties in favour of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Oasis - NME Cover 2008 / Fred Perry: A British Icon at the Design Museum 10 June - 20 June 2022

Celebrating 70 years since the first Fred Perry polo shirt was unveiled, Fred Perry: A British Icon charted the evolution of the brand and its enduring global appeal. Visitors were able to explore the beginnings in 1950s Britain, through rare archival material and early prototypes and explore the intricacies of the brand’s identity today, tracing the Laurel Wreath’s adoption into countless subcultures and by global pop culture icons.
