The Times Magazine's cover on the 4th April featured a session Dean shot with the outspoken Rock'n'Roll singer Sir Bob Geldof. His band The Boomtown Rats have just recorded a new album and were poised to hit the road in this 'Year of the Rat', Sadly events overtook those proceedings. He's a man who is an outsider with a forthright and at times confrontational cutting attitude. Sir Bob's life has been a rollercoaster ride with massive highs and vast lows, The Times interview was conducted on the cusp just before lockdown written by Will Hodgkinson. It is serious of course but entertaining too and spirited, presenting Bob Geldof's points of view and attitude all set against the backdrop of the impending Covid-19 pandemic hitting the UK.
