DEAN SHOOTS FOR LEVI’S VINTAGE COLLECTION!
For Winter 2007

A fantastic thought; facsimiles of garments worn from the 1900’s to 1960’s, recreated stitch by stitch into a true resemblance of these classic clothes. These images are a light hearted homage to the photographers of the FSA (Farm Security Administration) such as Walker Evans and Dorothea Lange, Paul Strand and of course the body of work by Richard Avedon  known as ‘In the American West’.

The shoot was produced in West London as opposed to the wind swept plains of the USA but with, cleaver lighting, amazing casting and a little ‘roughing-up’ of the subjects this series of images reflect a time where blood sweat and tears meant not only survival but pride, passion and honesty.
